Anti-Money Laundering & KYC Policy

SEA Exchange Ltd. is committed to preventing money laundering, terrorist financing, and financial crime. This policy applies to all users of SEA Exchange.

1. Customer due diligence

All users must complete identity verification before depositing, withdrawing, or trading above tier limits. We verify government-issued ID, proof of address where required, and perform sanctions screening.

2. Account tiers

  • Tier 0: Unverified — view-only access
  • Tier 1: Basic KYC — limited deposits and withdrawals
  • Tier 2: Enhanced KYC — full spot and futures access
  • Tier 3: Institutional — API access, higher limits, dedicated support

3. Transaction monitoring

We monitor transactions for unusual patterns, structuring, and high-risk jurisdictions. Suspicious activity may be reported to relevant authorities in the British Virgin Islands or as required by law.

4. Prohibited activities

  • Money laundering or terrorist financing
  • Market manipulation, wash trading, or spoofing
  • Use of stolen funds or sanctioned wallet addresses
  • Circumvention of geo-restrictions or account limits

5. Record keeping

KYC records and transaction logs are retained for a minimum of five (5) years or as required by applicable regulation.
